Maple Pecan Roasted Acorn Squash
Ingredients
- 1 Acorn Squash
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- 2 Tbsp. Maple Bourbon Syrup
- 2 Tbsp. Chopped Pecans
- Optional Toppings: Bacon or Bleu Cheese Crumbles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. and cover a baking sheet with foil or a silicone baking mat.
- Cut the acorn squash in half and remove the seeds and pulp. Season with salt & pepper.
- Divide the 1 Tbsp. Butter and 2 Tbsp. Maple Bourbon Syrup between the squash halves.
- Place them into the oven and bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove and baste the squash with the buttery mixture every 10 minutes.
- Once done, remove from the oven and top with 2 Tbsp. Chopped Pecans, and any additional toppings desired.
- Serve right away to enjoy!
