If you want to take these heart-shaped chips to the next level, you could season them with some taco seasoning for an extra kick! Serve them with guacamole, salsa, pico de gallo, or any other dip os spread that you enjoy other tortilla chips with.
I paired mine with some queso blanco that I made pink by using some leftover juices from some beets I was roasting. It gave me that pop of pink color while not making the cheese taste at all like beets.
Baked Red Heart Tortilla Chips
Ingredients
- 12 Red Corn Tortillas
- Non-Stick Spray
- Salt
- Heart Cookie Cutters
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. and cover a baking sheet with foil or a silicone baking mat. Give it a light spritz of Non-Stick Spray then set aside.
- Set out the 12 Red Corn Tortillas and cut them into your desired size of hearts with your Heart Cookie Cutters. (I got about three hearts per tortilla.)
- Place the cut out hearts onto the prepared baking sheet and give them a light spritz of the Non-Stick Spray. Sprinkle with some salt.
- Transfer the baking sheet to the oven to bake for about 10 minutes (depending on the size of the chips), or until done.
- Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool.
- Enjoy as you would any other tortilla chips!
