I’m telling y’all. I’m still working on my breakfast game. Sometimes a girl just wants something savory. And sometimes… it’s the sweets being craved. Today I was craving a little bit of both. Something sweet. Something salty. And definitely something crunchy! That’s where this easy-peasy 5 Ingredient Peanut Butter Granola comes in!
With just 5 ingredients and 5 minutes or hands on time, you too can have this delish granola in your life. And why not? Granola can be expensive and full of things you don’t like, don’t want, and/or don’t care about. Not this granola.
This granola is more traditional than my usual nut and seed style. My thoughts here for it are to play around with it between breakfast and lunch to make some sort of riff on a granola PB&J. The classic PB&J flavors are one of my favorite flavor combos.
One of the best parts about making your own granola, besides saving money, is that you can adjust what goes into it entirely. Feeling more healthy conscious? Toss in some chia or flax seeds. Mix nuts instead of peanuts? Sure! Give it a try. The possibilities here are really endless.
I used 5 wholesome ingredients. A local raw honey. Old-fashioned oats. All-natural peanut butter (with just 4 ingredients of its own.) And of course… peanuts themselves! A dash of vanilla and BOOM. One amazing bite of peanut butter granola goodness.
