Everything Bagels and the seasoning used on them is ALL the rage right now. So when I got some of the seasoning in my hot little hands this weekend… I knew that I was going to have to make a few fun things with it! These 'Everything' Deviled Eggs were first up on the list.
Deviled eggs are sort of staple in my house. They’re a favorite around here, which of course I don’t mind one bit since they’re pretty damn good for you. Low-carb, low-fat, high protein, and of course… gluten-free! Good stuff all the way around. And when you add ‘Everything’ seasoning into the mix? Well, you just can’t go wrong.
Being as ‘Everything’ seasoning started its career on a bagel, I thought it was only appropriate to put a touch of cream cheese into these deviled eggs. For me, there wasn’t even any need to add salt and pepper to the deviled egg mix. The seasoning was plenty enough salt.
Yummy stuff here, y’all! These deviled eggs are perfectly decadent without being too ‘extra’. The cream cheese gives them a richness while the vinegar and mustard give a much needed tang that you would expect from deviled eggs.
I ordered my ‘Everything’ seasoning online. But some specialty stores (Trader Joes’, Whole Foods, etc.) carry it too! Or you can even make your own like I did for my Everything Bagel Bowl.
