Like I said, when I got my hands on that ‘everything’ seasoning, I instantly made a lot of plans of things to do with it! These 'Everything' Pigs in a Blanket where actually one of the very first things I wanted to make. So, here we go!
Pigs in a Blanket are always a fun and easy appetizer, but the ‘everything’ seasoning on them makes them… dare I say it… even better! Yep, that’s right! With just three ingredients, and a few minutes, you can have one hell of a delicious finger-food.
I kept these Pigs in a Blanket lightened up by using turkey mini sausages, instead of the original or beef ones. I also opted for an ‘all natural’ refrigerated dough instead of one that was loaded up with a bunch of junk and things I don’t want or need.
Using the ‘everything’ seasoning on the dough here gives the outside of these Pigs in a Blanket a nice little crunch. It’s almost like a light crisp crust, that let me just say, is delicious!
I didn’t find that these little bites needed anything to be dipped into, but that isn’t say that they wouldn’t be even more amazing. These 'Everything' Pigs in a Blanket would be perfect for a game day event, or as an appetizer. As I’ve found out, it’s not just an ‘everything’ seasoning, it’s an ‘everyone’ seasoning.
Seriously. Who doesn’t like this stuff? I’m in love!
