Halloween is coming! And I couldn’t be more excited. For a long time now, Halloween has been my most favorite holiday, but I’m having to make a few changes to my usual routine lately since we’ve got a sensitive stomach in the house. I bought a plastic brain mold at the end of last year with the intentions of using it for a few things. A brain cheese ball was at the top of the list!
With dairy-free being the name of the game, I set out to find a way to make a cheese ball dairy-free. And you know what? It’s way easier than you might think. There are a lot of options out there for dairy-free alternatives. All the way from milk, to cheese, and even cream cheese.
If you don’t need your 'Brain' Cheese Ball to be dairy-free, simply use the real deal of cream cheese and shredded cheddar. And even if you don’t need be dairy-free, this cheese ball tastes amazing! I chalk it up to the seasoning blend that I used here.
It’s the same seasoning from my Skinny Baked Garlic Parmesan Boneless Chicken Wings. And it is everything. I served mine with some pita crisps and fresh veggies and it was perfectly delicious. You’d honestly never guess that it was gluten-free and dairy-free.
TheSkinnyFork.com This dairy-free and gluten-free cheese ball is perfect for a Halloween snack or appetizer. The seasoning is scary good! Serve with fresh veggies for a spooky spread that everyone can enjoy. Prep Time: 1 Hour + 10 Minutes • Cook Time: 0 Hours
