Some mornings just require a simple sort of breakfast. And as the first round of Holiday shenanigans starts next week, I thought there was no time like the present to get a nice, easy to make, healthy and festive breakfast on the menu. This Cranberry-Orange Steel Cut Oatmeal checks all those boxes. It’s made in a matter of minutes and is perfectly delicious!
Cranberry and orange are the perfect pairing, especially when it comes to the winter Holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. That’s why I decided to use those flavors in this oatmeal for a perfect breakfast bite with enough made for the whole family.
The simplest of meals are always my favorites, and this one is no different. Made with under 10 ingredients and minimal effort for a breakfast that is sure to impress.
With the sweetness of the orange, the tartness of the cranberry, and the warmth of the cinnamon this oatmeal is one that couldn’t be more perfect for the fall and winter months. Plus, the pressure cooker does all of the work for you, leaving your hands free and time freed up!
I topped my oatmeal with a drizzle of honey for some sweetness (since there isn’t any sugar cooked INTO the oatmeal here), along with some cranberry sauce and a couple slices of fresh orange. Some pecans or walnuts would another great topping choice for this oatmeal.
