Cherry Almond Poppy Seed Bread
Ingredients
- 1 (17 Oz.) Box Krusteaz Almond Poppy Seed Muffin Mix
- 1 C. Water
- 1 C. Cherry Pie Filling
- 1 Whole Large Egg
- 1 Tsp. Almond Extract
- Optional: Slivered Almonds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and line a 9x5" loaf pan with parchment and give it a spritz of non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
- In the base of a stand mixer, mix together the 1 (17 Oz.) Box Krusteaz Almond Poppy Seed Muffin Mix, 1 C. Water, 1 Whole Large Egg, and 1 Tsp. Almond Extract.
- Fold in the 1 C. Cherry Pie Filling and the Poppy Seed packet included with with box mix.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and top with optional almond slivers if desired.
- Place the pan into the oven and bake for about 55 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5minutes before removing from the pan to cool on a wire rack.
- When cooled enough to handle, slice and serve to enjoy!
