It’s finally here. We’re down to the finally 7 days before school lets out for the summer for my kiddo and I honestly thing that at this point, I’m more excited than she is. I just want to get through the next few days and have the freedom of summer ahead of us. That being said, I’m also in the throes of getting beach-bum ready. And that means watching what I’m eating and doing all the more.
With my focus on all that, and summer being the season of snacks around here, I decided to make some fun Burger Bites! These Burger Bites are so good too. Perfect for a snack sort of light summer friendly meal or quick appetizer. They start out with a burger meatball paired with all the burger classics; tomato, lettuce, pickle, cheese, and of course a tater tot!
I think my favorite of the French’s® Dipping Sauces with these Burger Bites was the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce - made with real honey. The other two flavors that I got were lip-smacking good too though. So it’s hard to say for sure if there was a clear favorite.
Right now through 7/6/19 you can even Save $1 on 1 French’s Dipping Sauce. Get your HEB Digital coupon, or find the coupons machines in-aisle (in-aisle coupons available through 7/14/19).
These Burger Bites were an amazing snack meal and perfectly delicious with being dipped and dunked right into the different flavors of French’s® Dipping Sauces! With using all three sauces, no two bites were ever exactly the same.

French’s® Dipping Sauces:
Sweet Buffalo, Sweet & Smokey Barbecue and Honey Mustard! Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. and line a baking sheet with foil or a silicone baking sheet for easy clean up; set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together the 1 Lb. ground beef, 1/4 C. bread crumbs, 1/4 C. onion, 1 whole egg, and season with salt and pepper.
Scoop out about 2 Tbsp. of the meat mixture and form into meatballs.
Place the meatballs onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes, or until cooked through to temperature.
Meatballs should be baked for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
(I cooked my tater tots at the same time as my meatballs.)
While the meatballs are cooking, start to get your stacks together. Layer each with a pickle slice, a tomato, some lettuce, a piece of cheese and a tater tot.
Once done, remove the meatballs from the oven and allow to cool slightly before skewering along with the rest of the burger essentials!
Serve warm right away with your choice of French’s® dipping sauces.
