Spring is here! I'm not sure if it's because this past week was spent 'springing forward' or if it's a change in the weather lately, but I can see Spring quickly taking over! There's nothing that welcomes spring in more than a nice effervescent beverage that's full of the good stuff.

What good stuff? Fresh fruit, berries, and herbs straight from the garden! I'm really lucky to have fresh herbs and a lemon tree at my disposal. Two of my favorite spring fruits are lemons and blackberries. This is a classic flavor combination that always adds a little happy to my day, and trust me, I need some happy lately.

Blackberries have always been a favorite of mine. I remember when I was little and we lived on the coast of Oregon for a few years. Once the sun started to sprout through the coastal clouds, I knew it was the time of year when blackberries ran rampant. I could literally walk out into my backyard and pick a basket of perfectly ripe blackberries. Yum. ...Oh, how I miss those days!

What's better is Canada Dry has a new flavor just in time to keep your Spring Bubbly; Canada Dry Blackberry Ginger Ale® which would be a great addition (or as a substitution to regular Ginger Ale) to this beverage!

Today I'm keeping Spring Bubbly with this quick Lemon Blackberry Rosemary Spritzer! Canada Dry Ginger Ale® makes my spontaneous spring preparations a breeze; even when I only have 15 minutes to get ready. I love that I can run out into my backyard to grab some herbs and fresh lemons from my tree to pair together with any other fruits that I happen to have on hand to make a fabulous and quick spritzer!

The tiny bubbles and beautiful spring colors of this drink put a smile on my face almost instantly, and brought that much needed brightness and sunshine into my day and my life.

I know that you might think that it's a little outside the box to pair herbs with a beverage, but I promise it's de{light}ful and so so refreshing. This spritzer, the cool breeze and the warmth of the sun are the perfect way to keep Spring Bubbly.

I used fruits and herbs from my garden, but you can of course use store bought as well! This recipe is easily doubled, tripled, multiplied how ever many times to create a quick festive drink for your next spontaneous Springtime celebration or even a picnic.

I like to serve my Spritzer in plain ole' mason jars to give the feel of a rustic, southern, country style soiree. Any fun glass would do though. I also like that my mason jars show the cute little blackberries on the side!
