The holiday season is fast approaching, which always means plenty of friends and family coming and going to visit. When this time of year rolls around, there are always two things that I like to have on hand and ready to go; a warm cup of coffee and something sweet to enjoy it with.

There isn't much that reminds me of the holidays and family fun other than a traditional and perfectly tasty sugar cookie. That's probably because my mom and I get together once a year to bake up a cookie storm in my kitchen. We usually each pick two kinds of cookies and bake the day away together. Sugar cookies are always my first choice!

I started these sugar cookie scones off based on another of my scone recipes but gave it a little bit of a twist with using International Delight® Frosted Sugar Cookie Coffee Creamer. It has the sweet taste of home in a rich, creamy swirl inspired by cookies & frosting.

I love adding this coffee creamer to not only perfect my cup of coffee but also into recipes to cook and bake with! The International Delight® Frosted Sugar Cookie Coffee Creamer added just the right amount of sugar cookie taste with ease.

As you can see, it just doesn’t feel like the holidays without a splash of seasonal flavor. So stock up and make that merriment last with friends and family! We like how you party™ with International Delight® Frosted Sugar Cookie Coffee Creamer and they will too.

For me, not much tastes better than a couple of homemade cookies and a cup of coffee. One of my other favorite holiday coffee creamers has to be the International Delight® Sugar-Free Pumpkin Pie Spice. It has just the right amount of seasonal spice taste that's inspired by pumpkin pie.

So, why not stir a little liquid holiday cheer into your coffee to enjoy alongside these sweet sugar cookie scones for a perfect breakfast or brunch treat!

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy clean up; set it aside.

In a large bowl or the base of a stand mixer, whisk together the 1 C. Whole Wheat White Flour, 1 C. All-Purpose Flour and 1 Tbsp. of the Natural Sweetener Blend until well blended.

Add in the 4 Tbsp. cold butter and whisk/beat on a medium to medium-high speed until the mixture resembles the grainy texture of cornmeal.

Add in the 1/2 C. International Delight® Frosted Sugar Cookie Coffee Creamer, 1/2 C. Plain Fat-Free Greek Yogurt and 1 Whole Large Egg and mix until just combined.

Finally, carefully fold in any mix-ins that you desire.

Yes, the dough will be very wet and sticky.

Scoop the dough out onto a well-floured surface.

Coat your hands with flour and knead the dough, adding in a bit more flour until the dough is still soft, but easier to work with.

Form the dough into a ball and place it onto the prepared baking sheet and pat it down with your hands into a half inch hall circle.

Lightly flour the surface of the dough and a knife. Carefully score the dough along the top into 8 wedges (as best you can.)

Sprinkle on the remaining 1/2 Tbsp. of natural sweetener.

Place in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are turning golden brown and the middle is set.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.

Cut and serve warm with jam, butter, and some coffee of course!

I found the International Delight® Coffee Creamers and everything else I needed at my local Walmart.
