Beef Braciole
Ingredients
- 28 Oz. Can of San Marzano Tomatoes
- 1 Lb. Beef Top Sirloin Roast
- 1/2 C.Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 C. Grated Parmesan
- 2 Tbsp. Minced Fresh Parsley
- 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
- 1/2 C. White Wine
Instructions
- Place the 28 Oz. Can of San Marzano Tomatoes into a blender or use an immersion blender to puree down. Place the tomatoes into a medium pot and season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat over low heat.
- While that's warming, cut the 1 Lb. Beef Top Sirloin Roast into six pieces and place them into a large ziplock or between plastic and pound them out until they are about 1/4" thick. Season with salt and pepper and then set aside.
- Place the 1/2 C.Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs, 1/2 C. Grated Parmesan, 2 Tbsp. Minced Fresh Parsley, 2 Garlic Cloves, and 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil into a small bowl. Stir together and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide the parmesan mixture evenly between the meat then roll them up and either tie with butchers twine or large toothpicks.
- Heat a medium pan over medium-high heat and add in 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil.
- Place the rolled up meat into the pan and cook for a couple of minutes per side.
- Add in the 1/2 C. White Wine and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- transfer the heated tomato sauce to the skillet with the meat, cover, and cook on low for about an hour.
- Once done, remove the twine or toothpicks and serve right away with your choice of pasta or rice and some veggies!
