Just about everyone enjoys a good burger. Especially during the summertime when grilling season is in full swing! I don't know about you, but I always like to play around with burger flavors. I guess that started some years back now when I was in high school and my parents started buying these 'fully loaded' burgers from a local grocery chain. They were always delicious but super expensive! I knew even then how easy they would be to make ourselves at home, and how much cheaper and better they would be too!

So, back when I was in high school, my parents had a boat. It wasn't a big boat or an expensive boat. Just an old clunker of a boat. In fact, it ended up sinking. At the dock. ...And almost with my grandmother on it too! ...Even so, our family had a lot of great fun and adventures on that boat. Many a summer night and day were spent out there on the water, together, as a family. It's truly some of my fondest memories.

Several months back, my dad went out and bought another old boat; after years of not having one and living within near walking distance of a lake now. He's been working on fixing it up and hopes to have it in full working order for the beginning of July for my mom's birthday. A good long while back I was introduced to the 'Unwich' which is a sandwich... minus the bread and wrapped up in lettuce instead; keeping it a handheld portable sandwich style meal without the most of the carbs or the guilt. That's right, we're stripping the sandwich down to the nitty-gritty and I promise you'll thank me later for it.

One of my all-time favorite sandwiches is and always will be a club sandwich. So, that's my go-to for this naked unwich today. Who needs the bread anyway? I'm getting to keep all my favorite parts; bacon, turkey, cheese, and even avocado!...

Ever since I got my pullet eggs last week, I've been in breakfast heaven. And since I'm getting more of them later today (while they're still in season), I wanted to use up the few that I have leftover for breakfast again today! It's not what I had planned, but Hurricane Harvey sort of threw me off my schedule that I had laid out. So, I'm just winging it here.
