For a while now, I've been wanting to create a 'naked' burger. What's a naked burger? Basically it's a burger that is so good you don't need a bun. That's right. This is a bun-less burger! It sits here completely bare (except for a little drizzle of sauce) and couldn't be more proud of it.
Turkey burgers tend to get knocked on a lot with people making claims like they are dry or boring and bland. Honestly, I've not ever found that to be the case. I've always infused my turkey burgers with plenty of moisture and flavor. Today, I wanted that flavor to come with a little big of a spicy Sriracha kick!
To make this turkey burger shine, I started out with an extra lean ground turkey and added egg white for a boost of protein and moisture while working as a binder. For texture, there's some whole wheat bread crumbs in there, and my secret ingredient - carrots! I also added a fair share of this Stubb's Texas Sriracha Anytime Sauce: A flavor-packed blend of chili peppers, garlic and cane sugar make this sauce spicy with just a little bit of sweet.
Stubb’s authentic sauces, rubs and marinades get their bold flavors from real ingredients. Their products are an easy way to add flavor to any meal while avoiding the fat, calories or artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors or preservatives often found in the condiment aisle.
This burger definitely doesn't need a bun. It's so full of big bold flavors that I promise you won't even miss it. That being said, if it's really really wanted, there is nothing wrong with placing these bad boys on some whole wheat buns.
I put these burgers over a crisp and light blend of broccoli, kale, and radicchio; mostly because it just didn't need anything else in my opinion. Especially on a hot Texas day!

Directions:
Preheat the grill (both indoor or outdoor grills work here.)
I set my indoor grill to medium-high.
In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the turkey burgers and mix until well blended.
Divide the mixture into four equal section and form into patties; set aside.
Place the 1/4 C. Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing and 2 Tbsp. Stubbs Texas Sriracha Anytime Sauce for the dressing into a small bowl and mix well.
Transfer the burgers to the grill and cook for 5-10 minutes or until cooked through (the meat should be reaching 180 degrees F. to be done.)
Place about 1 1/2 C. of the lettuce mixture onto each place, top with a burger patty, and drizzle each with about 2 Tbsp. of the dressing/sauce mixture.
Serve right away and enjoy!
I added a drizzle of Sriracha sauce over the top for extra spice and color.
