Pumpkin Banana Bread

This is a very traditional banana bread that I’ve added pumpkin and spices to. That’s really all. There’s no nuts. No chocolate. No other added things. Just banana and pumpkin. Pumpkin & Sausage Queso

Not all queso is created equal. Although, I don’t think that I could ever turn a queso away. This Pumpkin & Sausage Queso is PERFECT for Fall. It’s loaded with a little bit of pumpkin flavor and a lot of warm spices and a real kick-in-the pants! Naturally, while it’s hatch chile season in Texas, I served mine with some green chile hatch tortilla chips and YUM.

I'm so ready to get below 90 degrees F. for the first time this season. It's time for the end of summer now as as I’m concerned. One of my favorite things about fall has to be pumpkin. Pumpkin this, pumpkin that, pumpkin everything!

Today I'm hoping to entice the start of fall with these lovely whole wheat pumpkin pie spice waffles, and man... they are truly something worth waking up for. Cherry Pie Cookies

These cherry pie cookies combine two favorites. Cherry pie and cookies! They’re super simple to make with less than 5 ingredients and are super adorable! They’re basically mini individual hand pies that look like pies and yet are shaped like cookies. They make for an impressive dessert, even though they’re so simple.

There isn’t a whole lot that can be done to make these better-for-you other than using a lighter pie filling. You could even make your own pie filling and use that, but today I was keeping it simple so I personally opted out of that option…

Funfetti Sugar Cookie Cake

My daughter’s birthday is literally just around the corner. I can’t believe I’m about to have an 11 year old. Even so, I’m doing my very best to take this birthday extra special since, well, times are still rather strange in the world.
