So, the air fryer has quickly become one of the most used gadgets in my kitchen lately. It’s not only a time saver when it comes to crispy-crunchy bites that I normally bake, but it’s also fun to play with and tends to get my usual faux fried things even more of the faux fried texture and taste!
These Air Fryer Potato Chips are no different. They’re made with just THREE ingredients and all of 30 minutes of cook time. The best part is that they are SO much better for you than the ones you buy at the store. Why? No preservatives and like I said… THREE ingredients. You can’t beat that!
While these chips are perfectly guilt-free, they’re also still great for dipping and topping just as you would any other potato chip. The only real difference here is that they are homemade and still damn delicious. Eat them as they are or spice them up with adding seasonings of your choice to them!
Half the fun of making your own potato chips is getting to make them your own. Gourmet style even! In a Tex-mex mood? Add some taco seasoning. Italian more your thing? Italian herbs and seasonings it is! No matter which way you go, you’re sure to love them.
I used a mandoline to slice my potatoes on the thinnest possible setting. If you aren’t using a mandoline, you’ll have to slice your potatoes with a very sharp knife and carefully to get them as even and THIN as possible.
