Once again I find myself wanting something I’m not willing to turn the oven on for, so I decided to try my hand at making cookies in the air fryer. Can it be done? As it turns out - it totally can! But I decided I would make one BIG cookie instead of several little ones. Mostly for ease since I have a perfectly sized push pan that fits into the basket of my air fryer just barely.
This Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookie is super easy to make, and let me just say that it’s soooo good too. The air fryer gives it a unique texture that is gooey here and crisp there. And this cookie is LOADED with chocolate chip goodness. And when I say loaded, I mean completely full to the point that if you don’t like a lot of chocolate then you should consider having the chocolate chips.
Like I said, loooooots of chocolate going on here. But you don’t see me complaining. The only thing I really did to make this cookie a bit better-for-you was to cut out the brown sugar and subbed in a Splenda brown sugar blend instead.
The cook time on this cookie might vary depending on your air fryer. Mine took the full 15 minutes, and it could have gone a little bit longer. But if you have a bigger ban than it might take less time. Mine is a 7x3” pan with a bottom that pushes up and out of it.
