Game day is getting closer and closer and I’m over here getting ready with some of my favorite kinds of food; game day bites! I am SO excited to share these Air-Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Wings. I have tried more than a few times in the past to make CRISPY buffalo cauliflower, but for one reason or another it has never, NOT ONCE, turned out well for me.
Finally, I’ve cracked the code with the use of a new handy dandy kitchen gadget called… the air-fryer! I never had any intention of having a fryer of any kind in my home, but then the air-fryer became a thing and well… that all changed.
These Air-Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Wings are super easy to make and your hands remain fairly clean through even the 2-step dredging process. The batter is made with whole wheat flour and unsweetened almond milk; which acts like a glue to hold the crispy bread crumbs and panko onto the cauliflower.
With a quick toss in the air-fryer, these cauliflower wings come out crispy crunchity and perfect for drizzling (or tossing) in sauce. I chose to drizzle mine mostly because I wasn’t 100% confident how the sauce tossing would go, but now I’m sure it would work out pretty damn good.
These Air-Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Wings are hearty and the batter and breading sticks to them VERY well, making them great for dipping and dunking into your favorite buffalo pairing sauce. Today, I went with blue cheese, but a light ranch would be tasty too!
