Skinny Wasabi Aioli
Wasabi is generally one of those things that can be enjoyed in small doses.
I love the little dab of pretty green wasabi paste that comes with my favorite vegetarian sushi! It burns so good.
If you've never had wasabi... it's a pretty strange beast. It's hot and spicy without being hot and spicy. The spice sort of seems to hit your nasal cavity rather than your taste buds. Very strange and yet intriguing.
I sprinkled mine with a bit of paprika to give a little color difference. It's not for taste. Purely aesthetic.
I know that I just posted an aioli the other day... but, I enjoyed it so much that I had to whip up another!
I've got big plans for this particular aioli and I just hope that what I've got cooking turns out the way I'm hoping so that I can share it as a partner post to this recipe.
Either way, you can enjoy this aioli with any sort of asian style dish. Yes. Even sushi!
