Game day food is so important in my family, it's always been a big part of our traditions. In fact, cooking on game day was so important that when I was younger we even had a television set up on top of the fridge so that those preparing food could multi-task and watch the game at the same time!

One of the most famous game day eats in our house has always been jalapeño poppers. My dad makes some of the best, next to my own of course. Hah! But, I'm also a big BIG fan of dips and spreads! So, today I've decided to combine the two into one amazing lighter version of a jalapeño popper dip.

Yes, that's right. All the flavor of a jalapeño popper... without the hassle of having to stuff those bad boys! This dish is easy to toss together, and so delicious that no one will ever know that it's been healthified in the best of ways.

Seriously, it's a game changer! (Pun totally intended.)

This dip is great for using with everything from veggies, to chips, to crackers! One of my favorite dippers for this is the new Cheez-It Grooves. They are perfectly thin, crispy and made with 100% real cheese. Cheez-It Grooves combine the best of Cheez-It and a chip into one delicious snack. I used the Zesty Cheddar Ranch and Sharp White Cheddar flavors. Cheez-It is dedicated to using only 100% real cheese, which is baked into every delicious cracker.

Cheez-It also has another pretty neat snack, Crunch'd! The new Cheez-It Crunch'd is Cheez-It's first-ever crunchy puff, again made with 100% real cheese. Puffed-Up Crunch with Real Cheese, yum!

My mom couldn't stop eating this stuff. I think she ate half of it herself, dip hog! Her only complaint was that more bacon was desired. And right when I was about to put the leftovers away, my dad quickly stopped me with a 'Don't put that up yet!' Yeah, it's pretty good stuff.

The Skinny:
Servings: 10 • Size: About 1/4 Cup • Calories: 102 • Fat: 5.5 g • Carb: 4.8 g • Fiber: 0 g • Protein: 7.1 g • Sugar: 3.5 g • Sodium: 374.9 mg

Ingredients:
8 Oz. Greek Yogurt Cream Cheese (Or Neufchatel.)
8 Oz. Plain Fat Free Greek Yogurt
1/4 C. Light Mayonnaise
1/4 C. + 2 Tbsp. Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 (7 Oz.) Can Diced Pickled Jalapeños, Drained
2 Slices Center Cut Low Sodium Bacon, Cooked & Chopped
2 Tbsp. Panko

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine the cream cheese, yogurt, mayonnaise, 1/4 c. of the cheddar, and jalapeños into a large bowl until well mixed.

Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a baking dish.

I used a glass pie pan.

Sprinkle the remaining 2 tbsp. cheddar, bacon, and panko over the top of the dip.

Place the dish into the oven to bake for about 20-30 minutes or until the dips begins bubbling and the edges are browning.

Remove from the oven carefully and allow to cool slightly before serving.

I served my dip with Cheez-It Grooves in both Zesty Cheddar Ranch and Sharp White Cheddar flavors, and Cheez-It Crunch'd!

I was able ti find my Cheez-It Grooves at my local Walmart in the cracker aisle as well as a center display. The Crunch'd Cheddar Cheese flavor will either be on the cracker aisle as well, or sometimes in the chip aisle!

Enjoy right away!
