Everything (But the Underpants) Movie Night Snack Chocolate Bark

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Snyder’s-Lance, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #Pop4Captain http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

For this 'Everything' bark, I started out with two different kinds of chocolate. The white chocolate for added sweetness and the dark chocolate for it's added benefits. What's better as a movie night snack than Pop Secret Pop Corn? Not much! It's definitely a must. So, I grabbed up a pack of Pop Secret Movie Theatre Butter Popcorn to add to my bark. It has great butter taste and is a delicious, high-quality snack that you can feel good about sharing with their family.

I also added in some peanuts, dried cherries, and one of my daughter's favorites; Lance Captain’s Peanut Butter & Honey Crackers! Like the name of the snack states, it's 'everything' bark! Lance has been making little sandwiches for over 100 years with two awesome crackers on the outside with incredible spreads between. At Lance, sandwiches mean more for your family - flavorful, wholesome, filling and portable. Oh, and don't forget versatile too!

The Skinny:
Servings: 12 • Size: About 2 Oz. Chocolate Bark • Calories: 281 • Fat: 15 g • Saturated Fat: 8 g • Carb: 37 g • Fiber: 3 g • Protein: 4 g • Sugar: 30 g • Sodium: 34 mg

Ingredients:
10 Oz. Bag White Chocolate Chips
10 Oz. Bag Dark Chocolate Chips
2 C. Pop Secret Pop Secret Movie Theatre Butter Popcorn
3 Lance Captain’s Peanut Butter & Honey Crackers
1/4 C. Peanuts
1/4 C. Dried Cherries

Directions:

Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat; set it aside.

Prepare a double boiler (or two pots with the smallest on bottom to boil water.) Place the white chocolate chips into the top pot and stir constantly over the hot water to get the chips to melt.

Spread the melted white chocolate over the prepared baking sheet.

Rinse and repeat this step with the dark chocolate.

Pour the melted dark chocolate out over the white chocolate and spread to cover.

While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle the 2 C. Pop Secret Pop Secret Movie Theatre Butter Popcorn, 3 Lance Captain’s Peanut Butter & Honey Crackers, 1/4 C. Peanuts, and 1/4 C. Dried Cherries over the top and press them in to secure them into the chocolate.

NOTE: I crushed up the crackers and popcorn a bit in my hands as I was sprinkling them evenly over the chocolate.

I found Pop Secret popcorn and Lance crackers at Walmart where Captain Underpants will also be available starting 9/12!

Place the baking sheet into the freezer for about an hour to let the chocolate set and harden back up.

Once set, remove the baking sheet from the oven and carefully bust the bark apart into smaller pieces for easy snacking!

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
