Dry Ranch Seasoning
Ranch anything is a hot commodity in Texas.
I know, I know... those silly little packets at the store are so tempting. But, really all your buying are spices that you most likely already have at home + preservatives and fillers. Yum, right?
I don't know about you, but I much prefer quickly tossing a few spices together and having my own homemade ranch seasoning on hand when I need it - as opposed to the mystery packets on the store shelves.
There are a lot of homemade dry ranch mix variations out there, most of which have a lovely little number in it called 'powdered buttermilk.' I don't like that thought. I'll just use the real deal when I'm seeking out a 'buttermilk ranch'. So, we're stripping ranch down today and going naked with this recipe. No additives. Just spices.
