Yes, that's right... M&M's® Crispy are Back! They're so good that the brand brought them back because we asked for it! Now you can finally taste what you've been missing - whether it's because you've never tried them, or remember them from years back.
I've had them before and trust me, they are every bit as delicious as they once were! How can you go wrong with delicious milk chocolate with a crispy rice center? Easy, you can't!
My daughter's 5th birthday is just around the corner and she is just in LOVE with cake batter or 'funfetti' inspired things. I really think this girl lives off rainbows of one kind or another. So, I decided to make use of M&M's® Crispy in a fun and colorful way. A couple of years ago, I came across the wonderfully sinful cake batter chocolate bark that I've definitely eaten my weight in since then. With M&M's® Crispy being just 180 calories per serving, I thought this would be a great opportunity to make a slightly less indulgent version of that lovely cake batter bark in the form of bites.
To make this treat a little more foot-loose-and-fancy-free, I've used dark chocolate as the base, substituted some of the original white chocolate for a touch of greek yogurt, and also made these into cute little popable bite size 'drops'.
These bites are super delicious and taste a lot like a cake batter ice cream treat that can be ready and waiting for you in the fridge for whenever you have an urge from your sweet tooth! Those urges happen quite often in my house, so it's nice to have something readily on hand.
Of course, you'll still want to be cautious when they are in your freezer, as they tend to be a walk by grab-and-eat sneaky treat if you're not careful! Go ahead, and treat yourself though. We all deserve something sweet in our lives.

Ingredients:
6 Oz. Quality Dark Chocolate
4 Oz. Quality White Chocolate
1 Tbsp. Fat Free Vanilla Greek Yogurt
1 Tbsp. Birthday 'Funfetti' Cake Mix
52 (About 1/2 C.) M&M's® Crispy
Rainbow Sprinkles
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
Melt the dark chocolate via your method of choice; double boiler or using a microwave safe bowl at 15-20 second intervals - stirring in between. Careful not to burn it!
Once melted transfer the dark chocolate into a frosting bag or ziplock and create 52 'dots' on the prepared baking sheet.
Place in the freezer to set for about 10-20 minutes.
When the dark chocolate has nearly set in the freezer, melt the white chocolate via your method of choice.
Carefully add in the yogurt and cake mix and stir until well combined; transfer to another frosting bag or ziplock.
If the white chocolate starts to seize once you add the yogurt, just place it in the microwave for another few seconds to loosen it back up.
Remove the baking sheet from the freezer and 'dot' the white chocolate and yogurt mixture over the top of each set dark chocolate bite.
Top with a few sprinkles and place one M&M's® Crispy onto of each bite; press down slightly to set it in the white chocolate
I was able to find my M&M's® Crispy at my local CVS. They had larger bags for recipes and smaller ones for an on-the-go snack!
Place in the freezer for another hour or so until everything has hardened and set.
nce ready, remove the bites from the parchment paper and enjoy sparingly as desired. Enjoy!
Keep any leftovers stored in the freeze or the fridge.
I personally like mine to be kept super cold in the freezer since they last longer and taste like a cake batter ice cream drop of heaven!
