Broiled Banana & Honey Grapefruit

It was pretty chilly here this morning, so I was looking for any excuse I could to turn the oven on to help warm the downstairs up quickly. Brrr...

Move aside pre-packaged 100 calorie snack packs! This is the real deal.

That's right. You can have all that you see here for 100 calories. Plus, it's clean, gluten free, vegetarian, paleo and has some nutrients to it. Plus, as an added bonus you get to warm up your kitchen on a frigid winter morning.

Haven't tried broiled grapefruit before?

Don't be scared! If you like grapefruit at all... you simply must try it broiled!

The juices from the grapefruit caramelize into a warm and sweet perfection that just isn't there when the fruit is in it's rawest form.

What can I say? I'm bananas for grapefruit. Aha!

Seriously, I'm so grateful for this amazingly perfect breakfast and/or snack.
