Bread Machine Banana Bread

I love banana bread, but I don’t like fussing around with it. And I really still don’t want to heat my kitchen up more than I have to with it being on the edges of triple digits here still. So! That’s why I decided to finally try out the ‘quick bread’ feature on my bread machine and I made some banana bread in it instead of the oven. What was the end result? Well, you tell me!

This Bread Machine Banana Bread is as easy as can be. Just dump all the ingredients in - no yeast required - and go! The bread machine does all the hard work for you, all the way from mixing to baking. And at the end of it all you have a nice loaf of fresh banana bread that you barely had to do anything for.

To lighten this bread up, I swapped out half the sugar for a sweetener. I also used a greek yogurt instead of sour cream. And - I removed the nuts. They were added calories and my kiddo doesn’t like them either so out they went. The nuts, not the kid. One of the best parts is that I have part of my breakfast done for the rest of the week! And with school starting, that’s an extra big bonus.

I’m not going to say that before today I wasn’t sure that making banana bread in a bread machine was even possible, but I will say that I now know that it IS possible!
