Biscuits & Gravy Ring

It doesn’t get much simpler than biscuits and gravy, but here today we have biscuits and a homemade gravy. Now, I know what you’re thinking. Homemade gravy? That sounds hard! Actually - It’s totally not! It’s super easy to make and tastes GREAT. So ditch the prepackaged BS!

This gravy is made easily with breakfast sausage that’s cooked up, tossed with flour, and then brought to a simmer with some milk. Yep. That’s it. easy peasy, right? This ENTIRE recipe only needs 4 ingredients, plus salt and pepper.

To lighten the gravy up, I did two minor swaps that made a MAJOR difference. The first was to use a turkey breakfast sausage. And the second was to use an unsweetened almond milk instead of regular. (I always have problems with low fat and fat free cows milk breaking when it comes to gravy so I stick with the almond milk instead.)

In the end, this Biscuits & Gravy Ring is a breakfast of champions. It’s great to make on the weekends for a weekend morning breakfast or brunch OR to have on hand as a meal prep for the week to come!
